Kaleidoscope
An exploration of the manipulation of imagery, shape, and light. When I was younger, my family drove to New Orleans to visit the property of a deceased relative. He was an artist and created glass kaleidoscopes and lamps as a hobby. Inspired by the photography of Andy Goldsworthy shown in class, I chose to construct my own kaleidoscope and further explore how nature might be manipulated through a very different lens. Weird science.
