I made the Chanceclock out of cards, fortunes, and pennies with lots of hot glue, permanent glue, and shellac. It's asymmetrical to remain chance-like. I thought this was a funny way to "destroy" a couple of blackboxes... until I realized that it won't keep time correctly! The clock parts are from Hobby Lobby, and the battery is good, but I swear to you, I can set the clock for 12:00 and in an hour it will say 4:18. So maybe time and chance can't work together, afterall...
