Project 1

Here I am sketching out the base of the picture.   Now, I'm performing an old Indian art lesson. Lead through paper.

Tracing is fun and long   I really wanted the picture to come alive.

Doing some fine tuning to the painting.

The process of this porject was very step by step and methodical. I first selected a picture, which was the face. I then projected it onto my board for outlining main features. Once I finished outlining, I erased some features and added my own touches. Then I hand drew the desert/mountain area and the vehicle (which I'm very proud of). After all of the drawing was complete, I moved onto painting all the outlines with a black paint marker. The black paint marker is a recently new arrival to the CO-OP ART, and this tool came in very handy. Finally, I was ready to start painting! Unfortunately, the painting process took hours which turned into days. However, after three days of painting, I was finally done and was ready to present!
