Subject: Dallas MTB Rides ====================================== Cedar Hill state park, Cedar Hill 7.5 miles of hilly single track. Take I20 west to FM1382, 3.6 miles south on 1382 is the park entrance. Ask at park office for map to trailhead. =========================================== L.B. Houston, 4.3 miles of flat, twisty, shaded single track. Fun! Take I635 to 35 south, exit on northwest hwy, turn right (west) on NW HYW. Go to Newkirk rd, turn left (south) proceed about 50 yards, and turn right on california crossing. Go about a mile, past railroad tracks, then past a National guard post on the right, the trailhead is on the left just past the National guard post. =========================================== Boulder park, 4.4 miles of hilly, creek crossings, wonderful. Take I30 south of Dallas, then take 67 south to the camp wisdom road exit. Turn right on camp wisdom, go about 1/8 mile and turn right on boulder driver. Go 1/2 mile till you see chain link fence and cars with bike carriers parked. Trail entrance on right hand side. ======================================== Sister Grove, 380, 5.5 miles of gently hilly single track. 75 north, then take 380 east from McKinney past Princeton to the lake lavon bridge. Turn Left (north) onto CR559 which is on a bridge halfway across the lake lavon bridge. Go 1/2 mile then turn left (West) onto CR 561 which turns north. Then turn left (West) onto CR562 (its a dirt road).
