I have been doing myriad freelance art & technology jobs including: computer consulting and system administration (unix, dos/windows, MacOS), computer networking and internet services, desktop publishing, film, video, photography, and music production. My goal has always been to empower people & create beauty through technology.

I keep a "multimedia" lab of Macs, PCs, and Sun Sparc machines running efficiently. I install, upgrade and configure new application software, and assist the users with their projects.

I was employed by IES at several different times interspersed with my schooling. My duties included telephone technical support and on-site installation and trouble shooting of Novell networks and IES developed software.

I spent the majority of my time at Hewlett Packard with their Surface Mount Technology Group. I was initially doing data entry, but I quickly graduated to working in the SMT lab with myriad board-level development equipment including robotics and microphotography.

Assistant Manager
(Egghead Software, San Francisco, California)
1985-1988

I assisted in the running of one of the top grossing stores in the chain, and was primarily responsible for supervising the sales staff and ensuring good sales figures. I tracked and managed inventory, worked directly with customers, and all other tasks necessary to the smooth running of the store.

Member & host of Sierra Blanca Legal Defense fund to protect the Texas Desert from nuclear waste.
