ECOPACK: STAGE ONE | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Stage one is where the beginning idea of the evolutionary EcoPack was developed. the EcoPack began as a house the homeless project. Ross and I originally wanted to create a backpack that could double as a tent with a small hamock. Here's the first two sketches of ideas.
The project soon developed into a massive undertaking that not only needed to address a product design, but also social implications involving where and how to house the homeless. Ross and I incorporated the next sketch as our main design focus for the homeless project.
Poles were to be placed in the ground in some area of the city , so the tents could be placed onto the poles and then easily removed for transportation to another area if wanted. This was part of a three stage system. 1st Stage: Hand out homeless care packages. Gain Trust. Gain Funding. Gain Recognition. Volunteers. Including: Emergency blanket, poncho,stocking cap, gloves, socks, and hygiene products. |
