Growing up, I've always had friends talk about the ouija board and the things that it can do. It always had me curious whether the board really worked or not. The ouija board is a device in which people can use to speak with the dead. It serves as a channel to connect the living with spirits or some sort of the supernatural. I believe that weird science involves in great part the supernatural and the paranormal. Things that can not be explained or even proven, but in which many believe it exists.
This ouija board was created on a think styrofoam board. The letters and numbers were placed to resemble the most commonly drawn format. However, any design or method can be used to create a ouija board. The essentials that need to be included are the alphabet, numbers 0-9, and the words yes, no, hello, and goodbye. The tool used to actually speak to the spirit is called a planchette. The people using the board place their fingers on the planchette and ask a question. If the spirit is present, the planchette starts to move to answer the question that was asked.
To the left are pictures of the board itself and some classmates trying the board out. In this case, a spectator on the side would ask a question and others would sit on the table and place their fingers on the planchette waiting for a response.
