Project 3: The Game

For my final project, I wanted to do something that could get the entire class involved and share a good time. I learned about many things in this class, weird science or not weird science. However, the biggest thing I enjoyed about this class was that we could learn so much from just each other and have lots of fun doing it to. So for this final project I came up with a game for everyone to enjoy. Plus in the mean time, a questionaire was made in the style of who wants to be a millionaire that included various facts of weird science. This project was related to this class because of the weird science facts that were shared and learned from the questionaire, but more importantly the fun in the process of doing so.

The game included three parts to it. The first part involved a basketball hoop. The class was split into two groups. One member from the group had to take the hoop and stand on the stage while the other members had to score to advance to the next part. After the score, the group would go to their designated computers and answer a question from the quiz. The group that could answer the question first would go to the game board and roll a dice. The number rolled would be the amount of spaces a group could advance on the board. There were 12 questions made, and the group to be the furthest at the end of all the questions would be the winner. In this case, there was a tie and the two groups were faced to have a roll off. Here, one member of each group got on the table and got one roll with the dice. The person with the highest number won and their team would win the grand prize. Obviously from the pictures you can see who won the roll off. (Congrats to Team Can't Follow the Rules Cheaters!! That was a joke, that was such an intense and difficult game to complete, you guys are brilliant). The winners were granted with the prize of a nice box of chocolate.

I believe the project was a success because everyone got involved and participated in some part with the game. Most importantly, I feel people enjoyed something interactive to share with the entire group before the class came to an end.
