Peer Reception
Overall, the classmates enjoyed the interaction and uniqueness that came with my project. They were impressed of the large number and variations of the sculptures. The ice bowls were a big hit, being passed around.
Critical Reception
This project was questioned as whether or not it was a hack. The opened ended possibillities I spoke of may have been confused with no real direction. I felt, as did others in the class, that this project did represent a hack, because I made art in ways I've never seen. I also hacked the typical procedure that is used in preparing ice sculptures.
