Things I found out about animating with a #2 pencil:
1. Assuming you are right-handed, work left to right and top to bottom as much as possible to avoid getting graphite on your little and ring fingers and, in turn, to prevent smudging the paper.
2. Wash and thoroughly dry your hands after drawing each sheet of paper. Keep your hands dry.
3. Sharpen the pencil often, but not too sharp. A medium and rounded point works best.
4. Erase as little as possible.
5. Do not place the paper where the iced-tea glass was sitting.

Other information: 37 individual images were used in the video. Almost twice that number were started. Most of those not used were near completion or complete but abandoned due to mismatching, attempted erasures, or the change in the final scene.
This project is dedicated to Sam.
