PROJECT THREE
For project three, I finally knew what I was talking about (haha). I read a quote by author Terence McKenneh: "As the bonfires of knowledge grow brighter, the more darkness is revealed to our startled eyes." This led to me printing out pictures of various objects around my house and taping them inside two boxes. I coverd both boxes in black cloth and placed the smaller box inside the larger one. I allowed my class to ask me yes or no question about the items in the box and for everyone they got right they were allowed to tear off a piece of the cloth, revealing more objects. However, for every right answer, I also dimmed the lights, making it harder for them to see what they were revealing. It was a good exercise in asking the right questions and trying to guess at the right answers without using a traditional method comprised of what you can identify with your 5 senses. I think the class had fun.
