This project was made of random photographs that I took.  The figures are cut out of those photographs and are a "personification" of the energy that is contained in the flowers and other random things in the pictures.  A group stands together in a circle.  A lone figure stands by himself.  He is part of the group but his placement represents individuality.  He is similar to the others but he maintians his identity as an individual.

The base is covered by obituaries taken from the newspaper.  The pictures give faces to the names that have passed.  A last physical account of their lives.

The circle in the middle represents the uncertainty of death.  The figures stand around it but face away from the abyss.  Their lives have ended, their fates unknown.	All the while, the eyes of those who have passed look up from their places.
