circuit bent acoustic guitar

The audio toy boards from project 2 were further bent and installed onto an old 2-string guitar found for free. The sensitive body contacts were attached with alligator clips to the strings of the guitar. Control of the sounds of the two instruments is achieved to some extent by playing them with the strings. Various amounts of contact and pressure on the strings changes the sound. An electro-magnetic pickup was built and installed on the guitar, outputting to its own 1/4" jack on the body. The signal from the boards outputs to its own 1/8" minijack on the back of the guitar. These can then be combined with an external mixer. Here are some audio samples, im playing with others, you can hear this instrument as the fluttering bleeps and noise that are not following any rhythm but also sometimes playing Suwannee River over and over again and also sometimes you can hear my plucking away at the guitar strings themselves.
