When shock value gathers inertia, fabulous T-Shirts take shape.  Such is the case with the Texas Altar Boys Union and their widely offensive slogan, “I take it up the ass for Jesus.”  The Altar Boys are in fact neither Catholic nor boys, we are various queer and trans gendered artists in a smattering of fields.

Of course, shock value is nothing new to the Altar Boys.  We just decided it was time to take it out of the bathroom and into the public sphere with a little help from our friends.  Our goal is to spread transgressive creative identity bending art and make it more accessible.
