The puppet exercises helped us with voice projection and taking on roles of different characters while also warming us up to being in front of the public eye...+ A few students went out to public space such as a mall and a campus bus to practice drawing attention to themselves and practiced using recording during the scene...
+ This led to the next step which was the performance of more drawn out and rehearsed skits in both the texas union and the undergraduate library. The texas union performance focused on civilians affected by the recent american bombings in iraq and political opinions of certain persons in positions of power involved in these actions. The performance in the undergraduate library dealt with issues of public verbal/physical confrontation and domestic violence and abuse. The performance brought forth the public/student reaction to being the witnesses of this type of situation...
+ Students broke off into different groups to hold interventions of their choice which included commentary on obsessive usage of cell phones around campus and continuations of anti-war interventions.
