The Journeys Project is an installed visual project to be introduced in April of the year 2001.
Its premise lies in the concept of attaining a spiritual and emotional journey through physical
means. The viewer will enter the "opening" of the labyrinth drawn on the ground and follow it to
the center of the project where a large square room will stand. Upon entering the room, viewers
will interact with various items representative of mini-"labyrinths" through sensors (particularly
motion, proximity, weight, etc). The various items will have a consumptive theme, one item in
particular requiring that the user consume some portion of it. Upon leaving the room, the viewer must
travel back around through the labyrinth to return to his point of origin physically carrying with
them a piece of the installment.
