Once upon a time, there was a Greek architect and inventor by the name of Daedalus, whose fame had spread far beyond the borders of his homeland. He lived in Crete with his son Icarus, and was the royal architect of King Minos. When the Minotaur was born of Pasiphae, King Minos had Daedalus construct a Labyrinth which would house the Minotaur. The Minotaur was no ordinary monster; this half man, half bull monstrosity had a taste for human flesh, as well as the strength of a dozen men.

Every four years, Aegeus, the king of Athens was forced to send 7 young males and 7 young females to their deaths at the hand of the Minotaur. However, Theseus, the unbeknownst son of Aegeus swore that he would destroy the Minotaur, and save the youths from such a terrible demise. In Crete, disguised as one of the youths to be sacrificed, he catches the eye of the lovely Ariadne, daughter of King Minos. Not willing to see her new love harmed, she vows to help Theseus kill the Minotaur and escape with the youths back to Athens.

Plot of the Game:
 
Theseus begins his Adventure in the Labyrinth Entrance.As he delves deeper into the Labyrinth he will come across the different rooms of the Labyrinth in a random order.Theseus will eventually run into Icarus, and Daedalus in the Labyrinth and will have to help them before they give him any help.Theseus will have to find an object of value for Daedalus,and will have to release Icarus from the snare trap he was caught in.In order to succeed in these quests, Theseus will need special items which he will have to find in the labyrinth.Theseus must successfully solve puzzles in order to find these items.Once Theseus has completed these two quests, heis given another quest.He must free the youths that are being held in a cage in the Pit room.In order to do that, Theseus mus solve more puzzles in order to find the key, which will unlock the cage.Finally, he is ready to challenge the Minotaur, and must finally solve the final puzzle in order to enter the Minotaur’s lair.

At this point the Game is over, and a final cutscene is shown before the credits roll and the game restarts.The Epilogue is as follows:
 
With the Minotaur dead at last, Theseus, Ariadne, and the youths escape the Labyrinth and sail for Athens, just as the Minoan guards realize what has happened and attempt to stop them.
