Raised in a religious Texan family, Tracy first learned to sing at the church where her Grandfather preached. She sang so much around the house that even her brother wanted to switch rooms so he could sleep. Ironically, he's her biggest musical influence. When Robert Fancher was hit by a drunk driver in 2002, Tracy spent months in hospital waiting rooms dealing with emotional turmoil. She found her release when she started writing songs letting out her pain. His recovery has continued to inspire Tracy to write songs that question life.
In the fall of 2006, Tracy moved to Los Angeles, CA to attend the Musicians Institute as a Vocal Performance major. During that time she performed in the school's outdoor performance space several nights with her band. Over the year in the program, she developed a pop/rock sound similar to Kelly Clarkson, Evanescence, and Alanis Morissette. She has had the opportunity to perform around LA at such clubs as the House of Blues, B.B. King's, The Viper Room, and The Derby. Her music has been played on Emerson College's radio station WECB as well.
Currently she is in the Recording Artist Program at MI where she is recording her first full length CD. After interning at Thrive Records, she will graduate and pursue music full force!
