For this project I wanted to do something around the conversations I have with my girlfriend about her sister who has schizophrenia. I did a documentary where I interviewed her about her sister. I did this with a Canon GL1 and a shotgun mic that I rented. I interviewed her for about a half an hour or until the power went out. I didn’t feel like redoing it again and putting her through that again so I just started editing it. I found archive footage of old shows about mental hospitals and mental illness. I cut them into the movie to show using Final Cut.

What I learned	I learned I have to do better sound work. I got the mic, but that just wasn’t enough, my audio is horrible. Still the point seemed to get across and that is more important.
