I wrote this story after researching intersex gods in mythology. The story of the gods in Mesopotamia intrigued me, but I couldn't find many stories about them. I used the characteristics of Enki and Nibru that I found through my research and invented the rest of the story to explain why we do not know of the intersex god, Nibru.

My sister and I drew abstract images on acetate, then cut them out to make a stop motion film.

Enki is represented by blue abstract figures that maintain consistent character.

Ninmah is represented by red figures that become more frazzled as her anger grows.

Enki is shown by yellow figures that slowly "mature" into shapes with more defined edges.
