SOUND JOURNAL
Allah.wav This is the sound my alarm clock makes every morning. It is the beginning of the Turkish call to Pray (or to me a loud and obnoxius noise). I recorded it with my computer mic.
DavidGrey.wav This is a cut from one of David Grey's songs. I used Peak to grab it. I will be using this in my first project
Davidremix.wav This is a remix of the wav above it. I used pro tools and added a pretty cool rev-phis-00 (see pro tools for breakdown)
Maleyawn.wav This was my first attempt to download a sound from the internet. Easy of enough. The problem I found was the huge selection (who has time to listen to 1000 yanw wav's).
Tarkan.wav This is a cut from my Tarkan CD. Tarkan is a very popular Turkish singer. Again I used Peak to grab this track. PEAK GOOD.. ME LIKE PEAK...Check out Project 1 for better insight.
Pianohit.wav This is a bunch of notes being pressed down on a piano. BANG. I was thinking it could useful later on .
Headshake.wav This is one of my favorite sounds to date. My take on it...it that is is someone shaking their head after a shower or jump in the pool or maybe somone who is really cold. Oh yeah found this one on the web.

Bpulse.wav

Okay I voyaged into the world of Drum loops and wav's. I was really impressed by the variety of free sounds that were available. This one and Drum loop cool, I downloaded from the net.
Drumloop.wav This is my attempt to make a drum loop. I cut this beat from Outkast on Peak and tried to loop it. Outkast rock. Take this loop a make me proud.
Drumloop_cool.wav This loop is one of the interesting loops that I found on internet...and is mentioned in the Bpulse decription. I liked this loop because in all my searching it had the feel I wanted.
Cry.wav This is someone crying. I thought it would be of some value to someone in the class but if not. FINE
Coin_Slot.wav I used this in my Second Project. It makes a good filler. I used this as a segue via a juke-box-like sound. If you wanna know what I talking about. Then check out Project 2.
Drumroll.wav Drum rool please. I was thinking I would find a sound the should be played before I show up to each sound class and here it is.
boat.wav My second Project. Which if you haven't heard by now...click here ...dealt with noise. So the next couple of sounds deal with the noise of ships, industry and automotive worlds. This is a fog horn. Pretty recognizable sound.
Screech.wav This is the sound my car makes whenever I push the brakes. NO JOKE. Yeah I know what your thinking"what do you expect when you drive 89 Dodge Caravan..." ...good point.
Passby.wav This sound is car speeding by. It is interesting to point out that we hear cars passing everyday but hardly notice the sound they make.l
Airnailer.wav Bascically this a Air-nailer. enough said.
Drinking.wav These last couple of sounds I recored with Manuel's (much thanks buddy) Digital recorder. This is me drinking a Moutain Dew.
Italian.wav This is Kristen, who after hours of beggin, finally succumbed to my annoyance. The impotant thing here, however, is to notice how foreign language can sound like noise.
Keyboard.wav

This, my last journal entry, is the infamous Trey typing on the Keyboard at three in the morning. Yes, Trey like the rest us...sleeps here.
