I decided to spend a night in a graveyard. I took a camera and tripod with me and recorded myself sleeping on someone's grave.

I was pressed for time, so I decided to simply piece together some existing footage I had shot in 2000. I thought that this was an "anything goes" class, and that the relationship to death would eventually reveal itself to me. It did, in that the Professor's and my classmates' reactions to my project made me want to die.

I decided to visit a local taxidermist with my Sony camcorder. While I was filming the Martinez Brothers working on a deer, Alex Martinez told me a story of how he barely escaped death in Vietnam.
