These projects took shape during the Fall semester of 2009's Soundscapes course under the direction of Sandy Stone at The University of Texas at Austin's ACTLab.
This course allowed me to do any project related to sound, so I chose to write code that would link up the twenty-five computers and one projector in class to create a single display system.
During the Spring semester of 2010, I registered for the Independent Study Course through the Radio-Television-Film Department with Sandy as my mentor and had the Dean sign off on the Motion LED Gloves project. I choose this route rather then the normal non-traditional ACTLab courses since it would allow me to have a singular project without unvieling the end-piece to anyone and also allow me to work at home during my own time, usually at night, when I'm most creative, yet hardware stores are still closed...
