Project 2 is a ghosted photograph of a young man taken in front of the Austin memorial for Ivan Garth Johnson, who was killed in a car accident due to a drunk driver. The ghosted image is reminiscent of Ivan himself. For me this memorial is not only for Ivan, but for those that i know who have also died in car accidents due to drunk drivers. When i pass by this memorial I am reminded of these people and am thus able to place the faces of these people in the forefront of my mind. This photograph is taken to make this thought more of a reality.

This photograph is taken with a 35mm Pentax on color slide film. The exposure is around 20 seconds. My subject is present in the exposure for 10 seconds and then exits the exposure for the remaining 10 seconds.
