If you are reading this right now, you are probably awake.</p> <p>In the spring of 2009, I ended up in what sounded like the strangest class ever. And it turned out to be <em>the</em> most precious hidden jewel at the university of texas. I stumbled upon it luckily, found it under an umbrella somewhere. And for the first time since high school, I found protection for the freedom of art that had attracted me to it in the first place.</p> <p>The point of actlab is to <strong>make stuff</strong>. Three projects. And this webpage (to prove you made them in the only way that matters these days). The projects for this redition of the class are all in some way related to dreams and/or delirium. Then they are presented to the class. Then the class responds with a discussion of what they have just experienced.</p> <p>So please, continue, I can't believe you're still reading this. Also, in case you were wondering, my name is Joel. I am a graduating senior in the R-T-F program, this is my second ACTlab class, I specialize in video editing and some other digital media art, I love music, I'm from (south) Austin, I like riding bikes, and I like technology.
