When we polled 100 University of Texas students about the meaning of art, 98 said "paintings.. and stuff." 2 students said that "art is all around us." As pretentious as it sounds, my partner James and I agree. We dove into the trash bins in a film editing room to dig through what others saw as refuse to create something that is 'art.'
