Juan Garcia is currently a senior at The University of Texas majoring in both Radio-Television-Film (RTF) and English. Last year he headed up the student-run University Filmmakers Alliance as president for the 2001-2002 season. At 21 he founded a non-profit film production company designed to give student filmmakers hands on experience in the industry. He is an active writer and director, with just recently sinking his teeth into producing. At the moment, he is slated to kick off production of two films in the Fall.
