PROCESS PHOTOS
	I began work on this project by reading various books on Jungian archetypes and attempting some preliminary drawings of my own.
The images and words in the sketch book are just some of the notes I took as reading and various patterns I came up with. I was greatly intrigued by the detail in many mandala images, however, I knew that in the finite space of the film frame I would need a simple design.		Eventually, I came up with a sefl representation that I wanted to turn into an animation. I assigned colors to various parts and drew a brief outline of the key frames within my animation.
	These are some of the shapes I worked with in a sketch book. I used sharpie markers to work quickly and they eventually became my tool of choice in animating the final images onto the clear film leader.
