THE MAKING OF “MAKEUP SEX”
1. First I looked around and thought:
*what products are essential to “getting ready?”
*what parts of my body emphasize the hyper-feminine?
*how can I best capture this aspect of gender performance?
2. I took a whole lotta pictures!
3. I arranged the pictures on I-Movie in a way that I thought best represented the isolation of gender performance along with its very materialistic nature. It was my first time using the
program, but was not that hard at all!
4. I found a cool song (“My Moon, My Man” by Feist) that complimented the slide show.
5. I put credits at the end!!!!
