layers of reality, or something less pretentious
In another storytelling method, David decides to tell his story through
the use of comics. He wrote the story and drew all of the comics
himself. The comic illustrates a mental journey through different
layers of reality. David focuses on emotions like fear and solitude.
Through a person's mind reality becomes more and more fuzzy, so he
wanted to represent that idea in this comic. In addition to the comic
David has created a soundtrack to accompany his work. David was able to
stay on track and didn't stray from his original idea. He wanted to
have a story that both fit with our overall theme and could work as a
stand alone project. Though drawing is a talent of David's, he admitted
to being out of practice. This posed as a problem when he started
working, but as you'll see, he developed his skills well and created a
great project. His main concerns with the project was fluidity with the
other projects. This concern however is solved by displaying it here so
he feels confident that he created a project to be proud of.
