Workspace recommendations: =============================== 1 To properly track your projects and skins, we recommend setup a workspace like this: \gmProjects \Projects \project1 <- GML file and generated files \slides <- slides or other images part of the content \images <- images required for gmPlayer (optional, it depends on the skin) \project2 <- For example, this project may not \images have slides \project3 <- For example, this project may not have slides and images ... \projectN \gmSkins \skin1 <- XSLT file \Skin Files <- an original copy of the images that will be required by this skin. \skin2 skin2.XSL ... \skinN skinN.XSL NOTE: The new skins that we publish, will unpack following this folder structure. III. Publishing and previewing from gmCreator ============================================== 1. Please, be sure your workspace is set properly: - The content of the skin folder should be copied to the project's folder. - The GML file is in the project folder. 2. Please check that you have saved your last changes in the GML file by clicking on the [Save] button. 3. Fill or change the following fields: - Output File Name Publisher suggests using the same name as your GML file. This is OK because all the generated files will have a different file extension than the GML file. However, you may want to use other names, to be able to test different versions side by side. - Output Path The path where the generated file will be we created. - Skin Choose the skin file (.XSL extension) for the skin you want to apply. 5. Depending on the skin, more filds could be requiered. Please fill in the fields needed. 4. Press [Publish] or [Publish and Preview] to proceed. Please, be aware that both options will silently replace the all the files that have the same name. The best way to have two or more simultaneous versions (for a side by side comparison - for example) is using different Output File Names.
