THE NEBBISH in THE CONFESSION!
For my third and final project in the ActLAB class, I wanted to create something fun and entertaining. I have always had a love for Old-Time Radio, those serial creations from the 40s and 50s, when radio drama was still listened to by millions. Stylized expository dialogue, goofy exclamations, and some standard formulas for plots; all wrapped up in a 30-minute or hour-long package.
I also love more recent audio plays, including the work of the BBC, The Firesign Theater, and many OTR revivalists. It is in this spirit that I created "The Nebbish - THE CONFESSION!"
It's a 24-minute radio play with an 8-minute abridged sound collage plopped in the middle of it. It's good, old-fashioned, rollicking fun.
