It scared her so, and she ran about pell-mell—

Students at ASHS always get a hardy laugh from Hardy Becklund’s never ending antics. His rooster impression during last year’s production of Carousel landed him instant fame and got him first ‘peck’ of all the ladies at the cast party. Even now, young freshman ask Hardy to flap and crow in honor of his memorable role. A celebrated vocalist and dedicated actor, Hardy has performed roles in every Spring musical but this year. He also won the Lip Sync competition at this year’s Homecoming for “Great Balls of Fire”, even though the faculty would not allow him to complete his performance.
Not a person at ASHS can ever forget the long, boisterous laugh of class comedian and class president Roxie Burt. A leader and a laugher, Roxie keeps student council meetings productive and a good time. She’ll be remembered not only for her practical jokes, but for her practical approach to organizing the Haunted House of Horrors at the Halloween carnival which raised money for the Senior Prom. A veritable rubber face, Roxie is celebrated throughout the halls of ASHS for being able to do accurate impressions of a number of famous figures in American history.
