Most Shy

Most Shy (L to R):  Edith Stevens and Perry Curtis

Edith Stevens

E
dith once made a whole quilt out of hats!
And there’s no telling how many bobbins she has.
Approached in the hall she may seem reserved
But another quilt’s cooking in that mind of hers!

Perry Curtis
Perry’s the very definition of swell
For he keeps our stats and keeps them well.
Without his giggle and his blushing face
ASHS would not be the same place.

Those who got to know Edith Stevens call her the sweest, most well-meaning girl in the whole school.   You’d hardly know she was there, if not for her bouncy French braid marching from class to class.  Edith is renown throughout ASHS as a great listener and proud patriot.  But watch out because if you did get her talking about her latest Home Ec project you might not get her to stop!  Not only was she Secretary of the ASHS Future Homemakers of America Chapter but she was also the Historian for the Future Farmers of America.  She probably doesn’t talk much because she’s so busy!

Perry Curtis has the honor of being the only Senior Savage to still have his braces (he says he gets them off this summer).  He keeps the stats for the basketball team and even washes all their uniforms before each game.  What a guy!  We’ll never forget the wacky make-up and hat he donned during Spirit Week’s Homecoming Pep Rally.  Perry’s also go the best memory at ASHS—he can name every soldier killed or injured during the American Revolutionary War.
