Dot Matrix Guitar Riff

After stumbling around the internet, I ran into an experiment in which dot matrix printers were programmed to print particular characters in patterns in order to create a unique musical sound. After hearing dot matrix sounds in my head for the next few days, I sat down to play the guitar and found myself creating some unique sounds by hammering on and off rapidly and firmly. I started to create sounds similar to those of a dot matrix, and with some sampling came up with the audio portion of my project(which was my main focus). Although I found this new sound to be very beautiful and melodic, I still felt a bit uneasy simply listening to it, and hence added the video portion of my project. Using my digital camera, I recorded video outdoors while holding my fisheye lens up to it in reverse. I did a little work in after affects to blend my audio and video together, as well as pitch shift and add reverb to the end. Note however, that that was the only audio manipulation, all sounds are natural and unaffected otherwise.
