This space is an ongoing venue which aims to display some of the experiments I do.

For now, you can find a link to "Untilted", a video where I tried to explore ideas oh home territories, displacement, embodiment, and identity. It was the first project from the Weird Science class in Spring 2006.

The image below is one of the many actual imagined landscapes that resulted from this series:

The second project is generally labeled "Projections" was a collective performance. ACTLABBIES were invited to play in projected images. We danced to the sound of various beats. I had my clown nose on to "inspire" the children inside us and it worked! Thanks to the courage and generosity of everyone who participated and the facilitation of Sandy and Joey.

The third project, "A conversation", is an installation-performance where the spectators watch two people having an informal conversation. The deal with this is that the bodies are half real and half virtual. The male body has the female head and vice-versa. Very simple, but I had lots of fun working with Chris and presenting it to the class. Thanks for the wonderful comments at the end, that really added to the idea!

I will add the video for the last project in the near future.

I want to say that I had to end up at Sandy's class at some point. I am so glad this space of creativity exists at the University of Texas. I am so thankful to Prof. Sandy Stone, the always friendly Joseph Lopez and the always fun Brandon Wiley! (Brandon is here correcting my mispellings) :) Well, in the first day of classes, I could never imagine the corners we would visit. I am fortunate and joyful to have made this journey because I not only learned about science, but I also learned about what it is to be human nowadays right here, under the sun.

Thanks for the dance!
