After spending a month in Winter Park, Colorado over the Christmas break, I started having snowboard withdrawals when I returned home.  So I decided to build a snowboard ramp in my backyard.  

 

My dad came down from Dallas, and we began construction the Monday after Spring Break.  I bought most of the wood on craig’s list, and the out-door carpet and white board from Home Depot.  The total cost of the entire build was about $150.  We spent about 8 hours building the ramp, and about 6 hours fine tuning and increasing the speed.
