This project deals with the strange world of Reiki, a type of hands-on healing that was originally practiced in the Far Eastern realms of Asia, and was also rumored to be the healing technique that Jesus used in The Miracles according to the Gospels in The Holy Bible.  Now, Reiki has become a kind of healing that has crossed the oceans as a result of Dr. Mikao Usui, who rediscovered it for the Christian world around the turn of the century.

Reiki is a spiritual energy that comes from God, and is thus considered sacred.  It is not the manipulation of skin, nor is it massage therapy.  Many states have grouped into the latter category and is incorrect.  Cities like New York City and Los Angeles both have termed Reiki as such and is unfortunately now regulated by city governments.

It is also not the practice of medicine.  What it is a way of physical, spiritual and mental well-being.
