The biggest question dealing with Reiki has to do with whether or not a Master can practice it on the first level.  Some people like Master Lance Winters here in Austin firmly believe that unless one goes through First Level training, no one can practice Reiki.  However, others believe that if a person is spiritually in-tune, anyone can practice Reiki, and achieve the first level.

The project that I will perform deals with that exact subject.  In Sandy's class, I am going to attempt first-level Reiki on someone who will hopefully be an open-minded individual, and at least someone suffering from a mild illness from of either body or mind.  In this experiment, I will place my fingertips on that individual in hopes that the person will be cleansed of the infirmity.
