two longstanding recurring dreams meet, marriage and tornadoes . . . this time I am upset about marrying someone I've never met, rather than mildly amused or completely apathetic . . .I tried to reason with people, "I don't even know his name!" And they all assure me such concerns are normal and easily overcome.

the wedding is outdoors in a field alongside an unassuming building. the service is mildly awkward but I also like the mystery of him. his name is Trent, which I find distasteful, and I find out he is 42, which horrifies and intrigues me. there is a certain physical attraction between us.

a very big storm comes during the reception, rumors fly about a tornado, and we rush to the downstairs of the building and hide in a closet. i expect the walls to tumble in but

nothing happens.

we return outside and the sky is madness, the clouds swirling and taking the form

of gods, greek gods, throwing lightning bolts and stirring up violent winds

in the sky but then the gods begin

arguing with one another over what sort of storm to bring on,

and they eventually lose focus on what they

are doing and the storm dissapates along with their forms in the clouds.

back to the reception we go.
