PROJECT III-OBJECT OF POWER

After doing some research on several different African tribes, I decided to create my object of power to resemble an African Artifact. I wanted to use clay, instead of the usually custom of wood, to design my object of power because clay tends to be very sexual to me. I also wanted to include a mirror in the artifact because I see myself as the true object of power.

In the developement process, I wanted to add Raffia to symbolize my hair. I also put in a packed contact, because I believe my contacts to be one of my most powerful possesions. I used alot of diodes and microchips to represent technology and my father. Ralph Lauren Romance was added for smell and a CD-ROM that used alot of convergent media in it was included.

After completing the project, i was pretty happy with the end results. Though I don't think I need an object to feel more powerful, it has found a safe hvin' in the corner of my room.
