: Alright, I finished the assignment and perhaps the
: flaw #1 in it is that it is now 1.8 MB. I know, I know,
: not exactly 300k.
That is way larger than 300k.
: I'll be happy to learn how I could've
: kept it smaller.
Probably has too much content.
: I have dropStuff but when trying to use it I was told
: that I don't have a stuffIt engine in my extensions
: folder (true).
Download the entire Stuffit Package from UMICH archives
Use Fetch, its usually in the default connections.
It's in Utils or Compression
Use it to "SEGMENT" your strip onto a series of disks.
: Is there any way to compress it w/in Director? Or in
: Premiere or moviePlayer (assuming I saved it in 1 of
: those forms)?
Use Save and Compact when you are done with your strip.
Also be sure to remove any extra cast members, also check
the cast info box on your graphic cast members. they should
read 8 bit.
If your graphics are importing 16 bit and you dont know why,
try switching your monitor (Monitor Control Panel) to 256 colors
: Could I email it somewhow to a consenting account-
: holder in the ACTlab (I'd ask Tamara)?
More trouble than its worth,
