This is my dream. I've had it three times.

.......I am conscious in my dream, suddenly, of my body, in my sleep. I feel and believe I am not dreaming at all. It is real.

....I am conscious of rising very very quickly, straight upward, like in an elevator; really, really fast.

..............................................I am speeding upwards as I lay in bed but there is no bed. No support. Yet I am supported, rising fast through the clouds. They're real clouds, but they're not moving or affected by me.

.............And it hits me (not the cloud), the realization that I am in the process of dying, going up to . . . you know, up there. I'm afraid because I'm not ready.

And I scream out silently as loud as I can that I AM NOT READY. NOT YET.

.................Not yet. not yet. And I'm really hoping that this is gonna work.

.......And I am speeding upwards.

...With all I have in me, which is difficult because I'm really asleep, I push the words out of my mind as hard as I can . . .

.

............................I wake up. My hands are gripping the bed. I am not traumatized or anything. Believe me, I'm just happy to be there.

.........So now why is it that someone who doesn't remember dreams much, could have such a potent dream?

But I don't really think it's a dream.
