Gateways below. Business on the Internet Gateways A collection of homepages devoted to providing services on the Web on the Internet in general, as well as some information as to the implication. Some of these will gateway into hundreds of providers world wide. Geographical Gateways A collection of ways to search the Web geographically, including click on maps of the World. Divided into local and global. Muds, Chat, and Recreation Gateways The ACTLab has had a long history in organizing material related to MUDs and virtual, interactive environments. These gateways will lead you to interactions with real people, real time. If you are looking for specific pages, such as the DOOM Web page, then dig into the 'recreation' pages. An easy way to lose hours of time as well. Multi-media Gateways - A KEY RESOURCE FOR ACTLab'ers. This section includes such sub-categories as Virtual Galleries, Virtual Radio Stations, How-to-do sections for various digital multi-media, access to binaries and reviews. The "Index to Multi-media services" is still the master list. This material mirrors and breaks down their work into categories. Political, Governmental, and Activist Gateways Only a small selection, but a start. Also, these include some interesting places to web out from. Science Gateways Just a brief sampling.
