Okie dokie...I took SoundEdit Pro down to the
computer lab downstairs and the computers told
me I needed at least a 68020 machine with an Apple
Sound card. I don't know what the numbers mean
because I'm a PC person. Anyhoo, those machines
ARE Power PC's, so I guess we can bring in PC
formatted disks with .wav files on them, switch
them over to a mac disk, and then switch them
to .au format or .aiff (which of those do we use,
by the way?). Unfortunately, my PC is giving me
applications errors with my sound software
(it's like it knows I have an assignment due
involving that exact software). Any advise? I
suppose SMurF might have something I can use,
maybe? I dunno. I try to steer clear of that
place.
Thanks.
