proposal: i am going to have still shots that compose a timeline of moving feet fixed to the wall of the ramp facing whitis. On top of these still shots, i am going to have video projected of different objects moving by. The video will be choppy and switch from very fast movements to extremely slow movements suddenly. These objects wont be the objects themselves, but representations of the objects. The first is to be leaves blowing by in the wind. I am going to use leaves that i made with construction paper and project this video at four different intervals with the four lcd projectors. I havent thought of other objects yet, movement of water was a possibility, but i would at least like to get two more. Although the video will be the same on all four projectors, as each projector moves to the right, the timing will be delayed as to suggest movement. I found this thick type of wood that i can use for the hands that hold the knifes (as i still want these hands to be tangible things, not just in the video). The stills will be black and white, the video will be distorted to show light shades of color. need: 2 25 ft extension cords 4 lcd projectors 4 laptops or a mix between laptops and cameras (i have two laptops and a camera that i can use) large paper stills wood for the hand flourescent lights lined across bottom of ramp (so people can see the stills and it creates some sort of opacity between the video and stills)
