Everything is completed to my dismay. The "freakshow" canvas is finished and dry. All that remains is a coat of polygloss to keep it from sticking to itself. The display board is done, but doesn't really meet my original expectations. I could not afford the fringe and tassles and it just looks plain without them. Oh well. I guess the most unnerving part of it all is that this morning when I made the arduous climb to the top of the street light to get the data from the darkness meter and it only had one instance of opperational osscillation recorded. What a bummer. Oh well, not every experiment can be a success.

Things are finally starting to come together. The lettering is done on the "freakshow" canvas and the display board is covered with cloth and assembled. I have all the info in the frames and they can be hung ok. I have to do two more days of trials and I'll be as done as I can be for now.

I'm in a solid routine now. Each day after classes I come home, paint a little and then do my hour or so of trials, walking around the block and under my street lamp. The "freakshow" canvas is just about done. I just have a little more detail stuff on the figure and I need to do the lettering. The power company was doing some work on a line across the street and its a wonder to me that they didn't notice the big black box clumsily attached to the top of the street light. Only a few more days to go.

The new bulletin board is up, though there aren't any posts of any kind yet. Hopefully it will soon become a repository for factual, annectdotal evidence about SLI and related phenomena, rather than the LIES bandied about by other similar services.
