An invisibility device would be best. With this, one could turn any material object invisible by disrupting the visible light waves reflecting off it. However, if anybody has invented an invisibility device it's under lock and key; very top secret. As previously mentioned, the U.S. Navy experimented with such a device. The implications of an invisibility device in the military would be astounding. Whole fleets of ships, tanks, planes, etc. would be invisible to the enemy. Naturally, our military would be the first to fund such an expensive endeavor.

The possibility of me making such a device is nil. I do not have the means. So the idea of making oneself via the mind is intriguing.

Imagine being invisible. Of course, we all saw the fine film "Hollow Man," starring the great Kevin Bacon (I never saw this movie. It looked awful.). We could spy on people without them having knowledge of our prescence. We could sneak into movies undetected. We could pick things up and make them seem to float in the air in order to freak people out. Being invisible would be so cool.

If one chose to go a criminal route, there could be a lot of consequences. Invisibility could be powerful. Robbing a bank could be simple. Murder would be easy. There would be laws in order to prevent people from becoming invisible.

For me personally, it would be enough to freak the class out. Watching all of the stunned faces, slack-jawed and wide-eyed, would give me much laughter.
