Dollie and the Dream is about the heavy influence of fashion in the media. Dollie is a normal girl who is seduced by a vision of the "perfect" image. It is not attainable at first, and doesn't seem to be getting closer, but she dreams about it. Finally, the image takes her over completely, consuming her.
