INSPIRATION: My recent obsession with musicals.

Lately, whenever my Best friend Herbie and I where bored we would bust out singing songs from the musical Wicked. So, one day I got the idea that for my final project I could perform Wicked. It was perfect, because I really wanted to do a live performance THIS time, since I backed out on perfoming my first project.

PROCESS: I had no idea how hard it would be to cut down a 2 hour musical to 10-15 minutes. I didn't know how I was going to share this GREAT story with the little time that I had, there was just so much to say. So, I finally decided that I could just focus on the relationship between Elphaba (The Wicked Witch of the West) and Glinda (The Good Witch of the North). Preparing this performance took soooo much work! I had to edit the songs down, buy costumes, and PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!

STORY: I wanted to explain Elphaba's life from begining to end, so I start with her birth, then move on to her being in school, then to her meeting the Wizard, and then to her leaving OZ. This whole time, I am also unraveling the relationship between her and Glinda. From loathing eachother to becoming best friends, there story is like nothing you have ever seen before.
